Live security and check-in waiting times at Zürich Airport.
Estimations are produced by a machine-learning model (gradient-boosted decision trees) retrained every day on all waiting-time data collected so far. Each area — security, check-in, passport control — has its own model, learning patterns from weekday, time of day, month, and public-holiday/school-vacation status.
Because the model generalizes across similar days instead of requiring an exact historical match, predictions are available for any future date and improve automatically as more data accumulates.
Trend arrows (↑↓) on the current values indicate whether queues are expected to grow or shrink over the next 15 minutes according to the estimation.
